Between the long roadtrips and towing your boat in the summer to upcoming tailgating and off-roading  in the fall, your truck hammers away through all four seasons. Working hard can definitely take a toll on a vehicle and we'd like to share some tips to keep your pickup looking its best.

Our first tip is to keep your truck parked out of direct sunlight, like in the shade, a garage or carport. Dulling, cracking, and fading can all be effects from the sun on your auto.

Next, make washing a regular part of your maintenance schedule. Washing removes residue and loose particles that can cause tiny scratches and even rust. If you're washing the truck by hand, make sure you do it out of direct sunlight to prevent any uneven drying.

After washing, always dry with a clean cotton towel. This will eliminate any leftover dirt or debris and leave a smooth and shiny finish.

Our final suggestion is utilize waxing. This creates a protective barrier for your clear paint from the outside environment that might cause fading and scratching.
