Not just a country music star, Tim McGraw has tried his hand at acting successfully landing roles in Friday Night Lights and The Blind Side. We're sure some of our friends in Danville, KY are fans of the star and will be excited to hear about his latest venture. McGraw can now add car designer to his list of accomplishments. As a partnership with Pennzoil, a customized Dodge Challenger SRT8 was created exclusively for a new contest.
This one-of-a-kind version of the iconic vehicle was given enhancements making the Challenger not only fun to drive but nice to look at, too. It was given a lowering kit offering a more aggressive stance and classic black Mopar-style hood. Between the bronze metallic trim on the steering wheel and center console and rear fading orange and blue paint job, this sports car will turn heads. Power will come in the form of a the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 470 horsepower engine.
You can see the Challenger SRT8 up close and personal throughout McGraw's "Two Lanes of Freedom" tour this summer. The custom car will be on display at his shows throughout the country. If you'd like to enter the contest, you can do so here by July 31, 2013.
