Last month, RAM Trucks CEO Reid Bigland revealed that Chrysler Group will host a livestream news conference this Thursday, June 26 at 11am -- and we at Bob Allen Chrysler Jeep Dodge & RAM just can't wait any longer. The invitation calls the publicized update a "new product announcement," and rumors are circulating that it could be the reveal of the 2015 RAM 1500. The bestselling heavyweight is scheduled for a minor refresh this model year but will undergo a generation change in 2017.
A Chrysler patent has also recently leaked, disclosing an innovatively-designed tailgate, which is split vertically to allow it to be opened six different ways. While this will likely be an optional feature, it could become available as early as the upcoming new model.
