If you've ever been listening to someone tell you about the features of a vehicle such as front-wheel or rear-wheel drive, but you were a bit confused, then you're not alone. Many people are unsure of the difference. To help you out, here are some of the biggest differences.
The major advantages to rear-wheel drive is that they have good handling, and they are more durable with potholes and curbs. It is unlikely that you will need to do as much replacement with rear-wheel drive vehicles. The biggest con is that they don't handle the best in wet conditions such as rain and slow. The major advantage to front-wheel drive is that they handle better in wet conditions, but unfortunately they are not as durable, and it's more likely that you will need to replace a few parts.
