Ever since it was first brought back to the new Dodge lineup, there has been plenty of speculation that we'd see an SRT-tuned version of the Dart in the near future. While that day hasn't quite come yet, we here at Bob Allen Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram of Danville, KY can safely say we're getting much close.

The reason we say that? Dodge recently unveiled a GT version of the Dart, and it's quite a bit of fun to drive.

This statement, of course, comes thanks to the addition of a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that unleashes 184 horsepower. This fierce power plant can be combined with either a 6-speed manual transmission for precise control or an automatic for smooth, effortless shifting. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Of course, the Dodge Dart GT isn't just fast; it also boasts some new design elements that make it an eye-catcher as well. Specifically, the Dart GT is fitted with a black front fascia, hyper-black grille and 18-inch wheels, sporting a sleek spoke design.

This big question on everyone's mind lately surrounding this latest addition to the Dart lineup is exactly how much it will cost. Today, we here at Bob Allen Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram are happy to say that Dodge has announced an MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) of $20,995.
