The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is already the top minivan when it cames to fuel economy. But now the EPA has released its official test numbers for the Pacifica Hybrid, which is the only hybrid in this class, and they're looking pretty sweet.
The anticipated 80 MPGe from Chrysler was already an amazing MPGe. But the official number from the EPA is an Astonishing 84 MPGe! And as for the conventional rating, which is a combined city/highway, the Pacifica Hybrid will come in at a whopping 32 MPG. This represents the hybrid working as normal, and not in the EV-only mode. But that 32 MPG is nothing to be ashamed of, its an improvement of almost 10 MPG over the combined ratings of the top three conventional minivans, including the non-hybrid Pacifica.
As for te EV-only range, the EPA rated that at an impressive 33 miles, and the overall combined range at a jaw-dropping 566 miles. And that's from a fuel tank that's only 17 gallons (compared to the 19-gallon tank in the conventional Pacifica, which gets a 418-mile range). Just think, it will be possible to run all your errands and never stop for gas.
